Morocco’s Ministry of Health has announced a case of monkeypox, the sixth case detected in the country in the last three years, according to Deutsche Welle.
The ministry said in a statement hat the case was detected within the health protocol adopted in the kingdom since the start of this global health alert.
The coordinator of the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Moaz Al-Marabit, told the German website that this is the sixth case, with six cases detected since 2022, an average of two cases per year.
