The UAE has announced the successful completion of a new prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, involving 206 prisoners evenly divided between the two sides. This brings the total number of prisoners exchanged to 1,994.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to both countries for their cooperation, highlighting the trust the UAE enjoys in advancing peace efforts and diplomatic dialogue. This marks the eighth such operation since the beginning of 2024, reflecting the strong cooperative and friendly relations between the UAE, Russia, and Ukraine.
