The Somali army has announced that it has foiled an attack by the terrorist group al-Shabaab on a government military center in the town of Janay Abdley in the Lower Juba region of Jubaland state in the south of the country.
State television quoted security sources as saying that the army, in cooperation with local Jubaland state forces, “managed to thwart an attack by al-Shabaab militants on a government military center in the town of Janay Abdali”.
This is the second time the Somali army has foiled an attack on this government military center in the town of Janai Abdali.
