Storm Boris Increases Fatalities in Central and Eastern Europe

A person has been killed and seven others are missing in the Czech Republic following flooding caused by Storm Boris, according to a new toll announced by Czech police on Monday morning.
Police Chief Martin Vondrášek told public radio, Unfortunately, a person drowned in the Krasovka River near Bruntál (northeast),while the police have reported that seven people are missing, according to Agence France-Presse.
Across Central and Eastern Europe, which has been hit by Storm Boris, the death toll has now reached nine, with several others missing. Thousands of people have also been evacuated.
