Foreign media reports, citing a source close to Hezbollah, indicate that dozens of Hezbollah fighters were injured on Tuesday due to simultaneous explosions of their wireless communication devices in the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon.
The source reported that “dozens of Hezbollah members were wounded, and hospitals are requesting blood.” Another source close to Hezbollah told AFP that the incident was an “Israeli breach.”
On the same day, three Lebanese were killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, amid escalating tensions as Israel announced an expansion of its military objectives to include the front with Hezbollah. The Ministry of Health stated that the “Israeli airstrike on the town of Bleda resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to two others.
