The Egyptian Armed Forces announced the rescue of three British tourists after receiving an SOS about their disappearance during a diving trip near the city of Quseir on the eastern coast of the Red Sea.
Colonel Ghareeb Abdelhafez, the Egyptian military spokesperson, stated that the Navy received a report on Monday about the tourists’ disappearance during a diving excursion on a tourist boat.
Abdelhafez added that the General Command of the Armed Forces immediately ordered a search intensification, and elements of the Southern Fleet managed to locate the tourists and provide the necessary medical and administrative care before handing them over to their travel agency.
