Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad announced during a press conference on Wednesday that the number of fatalities from the explosion of communication devices in Lebanon has reached 12, according to a new tally.
He added that some injuries will be transferred to Iran, while others have already been sent to Syria.
Minister Al-Abyad stated that after a thorough review with all hospitals, the confirmed toll from the explosion stands at 12 dead, including two children.
He also clarified that the number of injured ranges between 2,750 and 2,800 people, noting that some cases have been transported from the Bekaa region to Syria, while others will be evacuated to Iran.
