Air France said on Tuesday it would suspend flights from the French capital’s Charles de Gaulle airport to Beirut and Tel Aviv until September 19 due to heightened security concerns in the Middle East.

Operations will resume after an assessment of the situation, the airline said.

Earlier in the day, Lufthansa Group announced the suspension of all flights to and from Tel Aviv and Tehran and said it would avoid Israeli and Iranian airspace until Thursday.
