More than 70 people were killed and 200 wounded in terrorist attacks in the Malian capital Bamako that targeted a military police training camp and a military airport where members of the Russian Wagner group were stationed, security sources said Thursday.
A security source told AFP on condition of anonymity that 77 people were killed and 255 wounded in Tuesday’s attacks in Bamako.
Mali’s military authorities have yet to release the final toll of the terrorist attacks, which were claimed by the Al-Qaeda-linked group Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (NIM).
The terrorist group Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin claimed responsibility for the attacks.
