Lebanon’s Ministry of Health: Death toll from series of telecoms bombings rises to 20

The death toll from yesterday’s series of radio bombings in Lebanon has risen to 20, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health.

In a new update on the wave of bombings, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the toll of yesterday’s bombings has risen to 20 dead and more than 450 injured.

The ministry said in two previous statements that the number of dead and wounded in today’s bombings, an extension of yesterday’s simultaneous bombings of a large number of synchronised pagers, has risen, causing hospital emergency rooms to fill up within half an hour with more wounded than their capacity.
