The Libyan Football Federation, headed by Abdulkhalek Al-Shalmani, has decided to appoint national coach Nasser Al-Hadiri, who has local experience, to lead the Libyan national team.
This decision follows the dismissal of Serbian coach Milutin Sredojević, known as “Micho,” due to the unsatisfactory results achieved by the team in the first two rounds of the qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco.
Al-Hadiri will take charge of the team in his first match away against Nigeria in the third round of the qualifiers, with the two teams set to meet again in Libya during the fourth round.
