The Lebanese Ministry of Health has announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on southern and eastern Lebanon has risen to 492 martyrs and 1645 wounded.

The death toll includes 35 children and 58 women, the ministry said in a statement on Monday evening. The attacks targeted towns and villages in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

Israel has escalated its air and artillery attacks on southern Lebanese towns and villages since 7 October in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
