Aggression against Lebanon: 22,000 people have fled to Syria

More than 22,000 people, mostly Syrians, have crossed the border from Lebanon since the beginning of the week, two Syrian security sources told AFP on Thursday, amid heavy Israeli air strikes.

More than 6,000 Lebanese and about 15,000 Syrians crossed through the Jdeidet Yabous crossing on an emergency basis three days ago until Thursday morning,” a Syrian security source told AFP, while another security source said “about 1,000 Lebanese and about 500 other Syrians crossed through the Josseh crossing” since Monday.
