Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Thursday that a peace treaty is “within reach” with Azerbaijan, which regained control of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region a year ago.

In a speech before the United Nations General Assembly, Pashinyan explained, “Today I want to say that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not only possible, but it is within reach,” according to Agence France-Presse.
