Lebanon Reports 1,540 Deaths Amid Ongoing Conflict with Israel

Lebanese authorities announced today that 1,540 people have been killed since the start of the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel nearly a year ago, linked to the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
According to a report from the Lebanese government’s Disaster Risk Management Unit, 1,540 individuals have died, including 60 in the past 24 hours, with 5,410 others injured due to “Israeli assaults on Lebanon,” which intensified on Monday, as reported by AFP.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health previously stated that 558 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Monday alone, targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut.
