Israel officially announces killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah

The Israeli army spokesman has officially announced the killing of Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Friday’s raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Avichai Adrai said in a statement on the ‘X’ platform today, Saturday: Yesterday, the IDF killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader and one of the founders of the Hizbullah terrorist organisation. The Defence Forces also eliminated Ali Karki, the commander of Hezbollah’s southern front, and several other Hezbollah commanders’.

He added: ‘Air Force aircraft, under the precise intelligence guidance of the Intelligence and Security Establishment, targeted Hezbollah’s central underground headquarters, located under a residential building in the southern suburb of Dahiya.
