Death Toll from Hurricane “Helen” Reaches 63 in the U.S

The U.S. authorities announced on Saturday that the death toll from Hurricane “Helen” has reached at least 63, while rescue teams are working to find survivors in several states in the southern and eastern parts of the country, amid ongoing road and bridge closures.
Emergency crews are striving to restore power and address the aftermath of the hurricane, which has caused flooding of roads and homes, destroying many of them.
According to reports from foreign media, there were 24 fatalities recorded in South Carolina, 17 in Georgia, 11 in Florida, 10 in North Carolina, and one in Virginia.
In related news, the National Hurricane Center indicated that conditions have improved following the catastrophic flooding.
