The Israeli army announced on Sunday the elimination of Nabih Qawuq, the Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, in a strike that targeted him on Saturday.
In an official statement, the army confirmed that Qawuq, who held the position of head of the security unit and was a member of Hezbollah’s Central Council, was killed by fighter jets.
Qawuq began his career with Hezbollah in the 1980s and held multiple positions, including Deputy Head of the Southern Region on behalf of the Executive Council, Head of the Southern Region, and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
