Antoine Griezmann, the star of the French national team and 2018 World Cup champion, announced his retirement from international football on Monday, expressing his feelings with a heart full of memories through his personal account on X.

The 33-year-old Atlético Madrid player, who has played 137 international matches and scored 44 goals, wrote: “I close this chapter of my life,” according to foreign media reports.

Griezmann won the 2018 World Cup with the French national team and reached the final of the 2022 World Cup and the semifinals of Euro 2024.
