The Israeli occupation warns residents of the southern suburb of Beirut to evacuate and prepares for an imminent ground operation in southern Lebanon

The Israeli occupation army called on Monday evening for the urgent evacuation of some buildings in the southern suburb of Beirut, as the possibility of Israel carrying out a military incursion increases.
The occupation army asked residents of border towns in southern Lebanon to evacuate, and strict instructions were issued to residents of the Upper Galilee to stay near protected areas.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant announced on Monday that “the next stage in the war against Hezbollah will begin soon, and will be an important factor in changing the security situation and returning residents of the north to their homes.”
American sources expected that Israel would begin a limited ground operation in Lebanon with the aim of what it says is “clearing Hezbollah’s infrastructure along the border to remove the threat it poses to Israeli border communities.”
An American official revealed that the planned Israeli campaign would be less severe than the last Israeli war against Hezbollah in 2006.
