Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will return on Saturday to Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was the victim of an assassination attempt during a campaign rally attended by thousands of supporters.

Trump will appear alongside JD Vance, his running mate in the November 5 election, as well as relatives of the victims of the July 13 attack, emergency workers and billionaire Elon Musk.

Trump has repeatedly said he wants to return to the site of the shooting, which left one man dead and two attendees wounded before Secret Service agents killed the sniper, AFP reported.
