The Syrian News Agency “SANA” said that “an Israeli raid targeted an apartment in a residential building near the Iranian embassy in the Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus, killing 7 martyrs, including children and women, and wounding 11 others.”

Initial reports indicate that the deputy commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Mohammad Reza Zahedi, was assassinated as a result of the Israeli raid in Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 4 people, including two of non-Syrian nationalities, were killed in the raid on Damascus.
