Journalist Killed and Two Injured in Gaza Airstrike

A journalist was killed and two others injured due to shelling and direct gunfire targeting reporters in the Abu Sharakh roundabout area of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, raising the number of journalists killed to 176 since the beginning of the genocide against Gaza.
Media sources reported on Wednesday that journalist Mohamed Tannani, who worked as a photographer for Al-Aqsa TV, was killed, while the channel’s correspondent, Tamer Labed, was injured by shrapnel from a shell that struck his back.
Since last Sunday, the Israeli army has intensified its operations against Jabalia and its refugee camp, including imposing a ground blockade, committing massacres against civilians, expanding the destruction of homes, and forcibly displacing residents. This is part of the collective genocide being waged against the region since October 7, 2023.
