Twenty workers were killed and seven others injured when gunmen attacked a small private coal mine in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.

Unidentified gunmen gathered the workers in one place and shot them, then set fire to the mining equipment and fled, local police said.

Security forces have cordoned off the site to collect evidence and no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, police said.
