Train Collision in Minya Governorate, Egypt: One Dead and Several Injured

A train collision occurred in Minya Governorate, located 270 kilometers south of Cairo, resulting in two cars overturning in the Ibrahimia Canal. The incident led to the death of one person and injuries to 19 others.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health reported today (Sunday) that the body of the deceased, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, has been transferred to Minya General Hospital. Earlier today, the ministry announced that there were 19 injured as a result of the accident, which took place in the Maghousa area of Minya.
A total of 23 ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and local media indicated that there were initially no fatalities. Rescue operations are currently underway, led by civil defense forces that have arrived at the site.
The Ministry of Health also noted that initial examinations of the injured showed that their injuries ranged from bruises and abrasions to superficial wounds, and doctors are still working to assess the precise health status of those affected.
