Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday accused North Korea of sending soldiers to fight with the Russian army in Ukraine.
Zelensky said: “We see a growing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea. It is no longer just a matter of transferring weapons. It is about sending people from North Korea to the armed forces of the occupier.”
The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, Kyrylo Budanov, has previously stressed that North Korean military aid to Russia is a greater concern than the support of Moscow’s other allies.
