Houthi Group Intensifies Seizure of State and Private Properties in Ibb, Yemen

The Houthi group has recently intensified its crimes of seizing the remaining state and private lands and properties in the Yemeni governorate of Ibb, located 193 kilometers south of Sana’a, amid severe security and social chaos affecting the governorate and its 22 districts.
Yemeni human rights sources indicated that the Houthis have committed various violations against the residents of the governorate, including killing, injury, tracking, abduction, repression, and maltreatment.
The violations have focused on plundering properties, which are considered a source of wealth for senior leaders of the group and a means to finance sectarian activities and their wars against the Yemeni people.
