The Muslim Council of Elders is organizing the second edition of the “Religious Pavilion” at the United Nations Climate Change Conference “COP29” in Baku, Azerbaijan, next November.
As the challenge of climate change continues to escalate, the “Religious Pavilion” is preparing to play a pivotal role in “COP29,” looking to build on the success of the first edition at “COP28” in the UAE.
The Religious Pavilion will include a global coalition of 97 organizations representing diverse religions and denominations to present religious and ethical perspectives and proposals to enhance climate action efforts, through more than 40 discussion sessions.
