A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck the central Turkish province of Sivas on Thursday at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake struck at 11.29am local time (GMT+3) with the epicentre in the central district of Sivas, according to the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (Avad).
It added that the quake struck at a depth of 10.57 kilometres.
According to Avad officials in Sivas province, there have been no ‘negative’ reports.
According to preliminary information, there has been no loss of life or damage to property, while teams continue to work on the ground.
