Ukraine Says Russia Will Deploy 10,000 North Korean Soldiers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed on Thursday that Russia is preparing to deploy 10,000 North Korean soldiers to fight against Kyiv, according to intelligence information. He noted that an unspecified number of North Korean troops are already present in Ukrainian territories occupied by Russian forces.
Zelensky added during a press conference in Brussels, after talks with European Union leaders: “We are aware that about 10,000 soldiers from North Korea are preparing to fight against us.”
The Ukrainian president was participating in a summit of EU leaders and a NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels, where he is seeking support for his “Victory Plan” to end the war against Russia.
