Russian President Vladimir Putin said today, Friday, that Russia is ready to participate in any mediation talks between the Iranian and Israeli sides “if they show interest.”

Putin added in a press statement: “We are in contact with Israel, and in contact with Iran. We have relations based on trust. We would very much like this continuous exchange of strikes to stop at some point.

And (we hope to) find ways to resolve the situation in a way that satisfies both sides.”
