The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Khalil al-Hayya, confirmed on Friday the martyrdom of the head of the movement’s political bureau, Yahya Sinwar.

Al-Hayya said that “the martyrdom of Sinwar will increase the strength of the Hamas movement.” He added: “We adhere to the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the liberation of Palestinian prisoners.”

Al-Hayya explained that “the Israeli hostages in Gaza will not return except by stopping the aggression on Gaza and the withdrawal of Israeli forces.”
