French President Emmanuel Macron will pay a state visit to Morocco from 28 to 30 October, the Moroccan Royal Court announced on Monday.

The visit reflects the depth of bilateral relations based on a strong and solid partnership between the two countries, the Royal Court said in a statement.

Relations between the two countries improved after Paris backed Morocco’s sovereignty over the disputed Western Sahara in July.
