Brazil intercepts cocaine shipment destined for Spain

Brazil’s Federal Police found 1.2 tonnes of cocaine hidden in a container bound for Spain at the port of Santos on Monday.
The drugs were hidden in a shipment of scrap metal destined for export to Spain, police said in a statement.
The drugs were seized and analysed on the spot, according to the same source, and the Brazilian authorities announced the opening of an investigation into the case.
