Boeing Reports a Net Loss of $6.17 Billion in Q3 2024

Boeing, one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers, announced on Wednesday that it recorded a net loss of $6.17 billion in the third quarter of 2024.
This loss was attributed to a strike involving over 33,000 workers since mid-September, along with high expenses in the commercial aviation and defense and space sectors. Additionally, the company’s revenue fell by 1% between July and August, reaching $17.84 billion.
It is worth noting that Boeing has not achieved any profits since 2018, and conditions are expected to continue deteriorating before they begin to improve, according to economic observers.
