An international conference on Lebanon, hosted by Paris, will begin on Thursday.
The conference will bring together representatives of Lebanon’s partner countries, the United Nations, the European Union, regional international organisations and civil society, the French Foreign Ministry said.

The conference comes in response to a UN appeal to raise at least $400 million to help displaced people who have been forced to flee their homes to escape Israeli bombardment and aggression against Lebanon.
