The President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, announced his candidacy for a second term in the “CAF” elections scheduled for March 2025.

Motsepe, the South African businessman, has assumed the presidency of the African Union since March 2021, succeeding the Malagasy Ahmad Ahmad, who was pursued on suspicion of corruption.
