The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has announced that it has terminated the contract of Italian coach Roberto Mancini by mutual consent, following the Saudi national team’s poor results in qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup?
The federation’s official account on Xbox read: “The board of directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and national team coach Roberto Mancini have today reached a mutual agreement that includes the termination of the contractual relationship.

Mancini, 59, took over in August 2023 with a contract running until 2027 and led the team to seven wins, five draws and six defeats in 18 matches.
