Israel targeted some military points in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces, causing “limited damage”, Iran said Saturday.

Israel attacked military points in Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam provinces, despite warnings from Iranian officials, Iran’s air defence authority said in a statement.

Air defence systems successfully repelled the attacks, but there was “limited damage” to some points, and the extent of the attacks is being examined, it said.

At dawn on Saturday, the Israeli army announced the end of the attack against Iran four hours after it began, while Iran confirmed that it had successfully repelled “the attempts of the Zionist entity to attack some points in Tehran and the country.”
