Former Bolivian President Evo Morales confirmed that he survived an assassination attempt when his car was shot in the Chapari area.

Morales accused current President Luis Arce of trying to eliminate him, who is competing with him for the position of the ruling Socialist Party candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.
