The GERB party in Bulgaria won the early parliamentary elections held on Sunday, according to an opinion poll.
The preliminary poll showed that the GERB party came in first place with a margin of about 12%.
The People’s Democratic Party came in second with 14.9%, followed by the Vazrazdan party with 12.9%.
The polls closed on Sunday, in the seventh general election in which Bulgarians have voted in 3 years, coinciding with the country’s politically unstable situation since 2020.
The preliminary results of these early elections are expected to be released on Monday.
