The Security Council to discuss the Israeli attack on Iran on Monday

The UN Security Council will hold a meeting tomorrow, Monday, to discuss the Israeli attack on Iran, at the request of Iran and with the support of Algeria, China, and Russia.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a letter to the Security Council that his country reserves “in line with the principles contained in the Charter of the United Nations and under international law, its inherent right to respond legally and legitimately to these criminal attacks at the appropriate time.”

The Israeli occupation army announced that it carried out dozens of military strikes yesterday, Saturday, on missile manufacturing facilities and other sites near Tehran and in western Iran.
