Israeli warplanes today launched a series of airstrikes on several locations in Baalbek and southern Lebanon, causing a number of deaths and injuries.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement today that the death toll from the strike on a building in the Raml neighbourhood of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre has risen to five dead and ten injured. The rubble is still being cleared.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, one person was killed and three others injured in the air strike, which earlier targeted the town of Nabatieh.
In Baalbek, one person was killed and three children were injured in an Israeli air strike on the outskirts of Shamastar, and the rubble is still being cleared.
Since 23 September, the Israeli entity has extended its attacks to the capital Beirut and launched a ground invasion of southern Lebanon, killing and wounding thousands of Lebanese and forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
