China to launch Shenzhou-19 manned spacecraft on 30 October

China’s manned Shenzhou-19 spacecraft will be launched at 4:27 am (Beijing time) on Wednesday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the northwest of the country, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced on Tuesday.

The launch will be carried out by a Long March-2F carrier rocket, which will soon be filled with fuel, Lin Shiqiang, deputy director of the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), said at a press conference.

Shenzhou-19 is the 33rd space mission of China’s manned space programme and the fourth manned mission during the application and development phase of China’s space station.
