Norway resorts to IJC in response to Israeli occupation’s ban UNRWA

Norway said it “will propose to the United Nations General Assembly a resolution to request the opinion of the International Court of Justice on Israel’s obligation to facilitate the entry of aid provided by international organizations to the Palestinians, whether from the United Nations or countries.”

Oslo added that “this step comes in response to the Israeli occupation’s decision to ban the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).” The Israeli Knesset had approved legislation yesterday, Monday, banning the work of UNRWA.
