According to data from the Central Election Commission, Georgia has witnessed angry protests by the opposition against the results of parliamentary elections, after the ruling pro-Russian Georgian Dream party won 53.92% of the vote.

Opposition parties described the elections as “rigged”, with the US and EU calling for an investigation.
