The European Union’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, announced that the Saudi capital will host the first meetings of the “International Alliance for the Two-State Solution” in mid-this week.

Borrell said that “the global alliance was launched to be a platform for all countries to participate in ending the Gaza war and lifting the siege on it, working to free the hostages, and seeking a two-state solution.”

He added that the coalition committees will hold a meeting in Brussels, Cairo, Amman, Istanbul, and the Norwegian capital Oslo, after the Riyadh meeting, to discuss the situation in Gaza to implement the two-state solution.

Earlier, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah announced the launch of the “International Coalition to Implement the Two-State Solution”, with the first meeting of the coalition to be held in Riyadh.
