Voters in Botswana went to the polls today, Wednesday, to cast their ballots in the country’s parliamentary elections.
Lawmakers will later elect a president. President Mokgweetsi Masisi, 63, is seeking a second and final term in office against three challengers: ‘Duma Boko, Dumelang Sileschando and Mifato Retail.
Vote counting will begin immediately after polls close tonight, with official results expected within days.
