The matches of the Copa del Rey between Valencia and Levante have been postponed due to the devastating floods that claimed the lives of more than seventy people in southern Spain.

The country experienced sudden flooding on Tuesday, turning streets in villages into rivers and disrupting railway lines and highways, marking the worst natural disaster to hit a European country in recent times, according to German news agency reports.

There is a possibility that other matches in the Copa del Rey may be canceled, and the match between Valencia and Real Madrid scheduled for Saturday could be postponed to a later date.
