The advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Kamal Kharrazi, stated that Tehran may increase the range of its ballistic missiles and could review its nuclear doctrine amid rising tensions with Israel.
In an interview with foreign media, Kharrazi noted that Iran might extend the range of its ballistic missiles beyond the self-imposed limit of 2,000 kilometers, emphasizing that Tehran has the technical capabilities to produce nuclear weapons.
He also pointed out that while Iran possesses the technical ability to develop nuclear weapons, it is currently constrained by a fatwa issued by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei that prohibits their development.
